Rob was born and raised in NYC. He came out when he was seventeen.
As a gay man in Manhattan, he knows the struggles that single
gay guys go through searching and hoping to meet that special
person. This was motivation to become more involved in his community.
When the opportunity to work for Club Elite came along, he was
excited. He loves the idea of bringing romance and the possibility
of relationships to the lives of great guys. He also enjoys
the social side of the business, going to all events about town,
and meeting new matches for his clients! As a graduate of The
Matchmaking Institute, he is one of the only two certified gay
matchmakers in the world.
Rob and Club Elite have
been featured on CBS and ABC News, 20/20, 60 Minutes, The Barry Z Show, That’s Kentertainment, QTV,
The Will Clark Show, Big Gay Apple.com, and in Next and OUT magazines, NYC24, the NY Blade and GayWired. Rob
is currently ending production on a documentary for LOGO on dating. A possible TV series is in the works.
Rob
has a background in art and theatre. He Attended Parsons School
of the Arts in the evenings for graphic arts, while he worked
for an animation company as an artist, did some modeling, was
an actor, studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, and
is a member of the Actors Studio. He went on to work in the
pet industry, as he is a big dog lover. He graduated from The
Nash Academy of Animal Arts, and worked as a dog groomer for
15 years, and as an entrepreneur, developed his own pet service
"Dog's Best Friend".
He
recently switched from pets to people as the creative director
of Club Elite.
